Evanescence´s lithium is ready!
Amy Lee is returning to the forest, only this time there's no Big Bad Wolf.
"There's the me in all white and it's really wintry," the Evanescence singer said on the set of the "Lithium" video on Wednesday, pointing to an elaborate array of snow-covered trees. "And then there's the all-in-black Amy under the surface of the water of this lake in the forest. So it's the happiness and the sorrow and we're almost singing to each other, trying to figure out how both of us can work."
Unlike the Little Red Riding Hood concept for the "Call Me When You're Sober" video, which was an abstract take on somewhat literal lyrics, the follow-up is a literal take on somewhat abstract lyrics.

"So it's not so in-your-face to make the video more literal," Lee justified of the video, which Paul Fedor (Sarah McLachlan, Seether) directed based on her concept. "Really, though, I think it's all about touching somebody and I hope it does that."
"Lithium," the second single from the recently released The Open Door, is about making the choice between the comfort of sorrow and the idea of happiness.
"You get in these cycles where you're stuck in bad situations or relationships or whatever and it's hard to make yourself get out even though it's negative and hard," Lee explained. "So that's sort of what it's about, breaking free."
She chose the title "Lithium," which is also the name of a classic Nirvana song, because it's "a metaphor for happiness from a negative point of view." "It's looking at it like, 'I don't want to numb myself and not feel anymore,' " added Lee, adorned in an elegant white dress, pale white makeup and bright red lipstick.

Evanescence decided to release "Lithium" only recently, as Lee struggled with the single-selection process.
"It was a really, really hard call because there were like four different songs I thought would be awesome for the second single," she explained. "But I think we got a couple [more] singles to go."
"Call Me When You're Sober," which Evanescence also shot in Hollywood, has been a "TRL" hit, and The Open Door followed accordingly, debuting atop the Billboard albums chart (see "Evanescence Butcher The Killers In Battle For Billboard #1").
"It's been a big wonderful surprise," Lee said of the success. "I definitely wrote the record thinking about myself and what I wanted and pushing myself to do better than what I've done. And I almost expected a lot of people to hate it because I love it so much and I wasn't trying to do it for anyone else. And you have to imagine if you're not making any compromises, there's going to be haters, because it's definitely different from the first record. But everything I've heard has been very positive and it's a great feeling to have other people appreciate it too."

DIARY: the death of today
Today I feel so lost , I`m have not way to go there nothing to live all my life have been a real shit. the only thing that I have to wait is the death cause that is the only solution of my sorrow. All my trouble start with the lonelyness that I`ve have since I was a child, always all the people that was around me just felt hate for me and I dont know why because I tried to be a good person with them and they always tried to killed me, they did it. all my life have been like this way, and all my family feels the way too, sometimes I think that I have some kind of demon inside of me cause all the people that is around me just feels that feeling for me and it hurts so much (really I dont know what to do) sonce I was a young boy my father tried to make me feel so bad and tried to killed me (all my days he tells me that i must to be dead) later my mom and the rest of my "family" just gone with him and left me alone (I remember that one day my mom left me abandoned in a stairs of a house and I was sleeping) and they always tried to killed me but always past something to stop them. when I was in 7 grade of hight school I though that I found a real friend (my first) but he just used me to get fun with his real friends and just get laught. later I was so stupid but I though again that I found a my real friend but he abandoned and he leave to another school away from me. later of many years the person (who cath me when I was sleeping in that stairs when my mother left me) died a oct 26 and I felt more lost that always(I was the guilty for her death cause I make something so cruel with God that he make me that to make me feel afraid to him) and always and always all the people tried to killed me for all the reason and the principal reason is " to be living here with them". for all these reason and more troubles that I have in my heart I felt in a adiction that is killing me now!. today my "father"(that I hate with all my heart for steal my life) tried to killed me again and I`m so weak that I dont have nothing to survive it. the only thing that I think in this moment is in die today cause is my only reason to be here. since 1 year ago I have been cutting my skin to feel me better but I not feel better anymore to make that. I feel guilty. Now I tell that I wont feel the love for no one cause I cant feel it, but there is a only being that I love so much:"GOD" , maybe he make me feel all this things for I could feel love for him. and I love him so much he is my life but I`m so weak to be here and I know that soon I will die. I just want to say something : "I love u God and you are my only one".

KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF MY GIRL" NO this song is not about my girlfriend or any other girl in particular. Once again people are missing that good ol' Good Charlotte sarcasm.......anyways. This is a song Benj and I wrote late in the studio one night while making this record. We were just messin around with it on the mic and before you know it we had ourselves a song, everybody was laughin and having a good time, so we named it, cleaned it up, fed it and now it's ours.... If you're asking what the song is about, I'm gonna let you figure that one out. I will say that we want you to have a good time while you listen. We wanna make you feel good, and make ya move. That's about it. I can say this song is very different from most of the other tracks on GOOD MORNING REVIVAL! , it's lyrical content and it's sound, but it fits nicely with all the songs as a whole body of work. The open door second single soon!
There are rumors about the seconds single for evanescence new album "the open door" and the possible single will be "lithium" the track #4 of the record, a song slowly and full of sadness. the single will be in radios on october 31 and it thinks that will be the most gothic video of the band. Good charlotte new album!!!

Good Charlotte have just finished recording their fourth album, "Good Morning Revival," due in February via Epic. The quintet will give fans a taste of the album soon, however, with the Internet release of the track "Keep Your Hands Off My Girl" and by playing some of the new songs on a 21-date tour that kicks off Sept. 27 in San Francisco, according to Billboard.com.

"It sounds like Good Charlotte," frontman Joel Madden tells Billboard matter-of-factly about the Don Gilmore-produced album. "It sounds older. We sound more comfortable." But, he adds, it allows follows the ambitious and experimental path the group took on its last album, 2004's "The Chronicles of Life and Death."

"I think it's definitely in line with that," Madden says. "We definitely took a lot more steps forward. We went way left, though; it sounds way different. It's melodic. It's upbeat. It's kind of dance-y at some times. I think it's still very ambitious for us."

Madden describes "Keep Your Hands Off My Girl" as "just a fun song" that was inspired by his club DJ stints over the past couple of years. "I was kind of joking around with some friends and said 'I want to make a song I can hear in the club,'" says the singer, whose own "girl" is actress/singer Hilary Duff. "So I wrote this song and it [making] the record."

At the upcoming shows, Good Charlotte will roll out some of the new tracks, along with "old songs from the first record, songs we normally wouldn't play," according to Madden. The tour, he says, is "a surprise little thing, just for the fans so they could come see us play before we put out the record and the real promotion starts. We feel really fortunate we have the time to do it, and we're excited about."
